Workforce & Economic Development is an umbrella for a number of different services providing funding, support and instructional programs for Olympic College students. We are strengthening our community by linking education and employment to create a skilled 21st-century workforce.

Funding Programs

BFET

Basic Food Employment & Training (BFET) can provide educational and workforce training opportunities if you receive Basic Food Assistance (food stamps). 

WorkFirst

WorkFirst offers financial assistance if you receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and meet other requirements.

Worker Retraining

Worker Retraining offers tuition assistance and more to eligible students. Find out if you qualify.

Instructor Boot Camp

Intensive, 3-daycourses for professional-technical faculty who have limited or no teaching experience.
