Adventure Awaits!
Adventure Awaits!
The Olympic College Recreation Department (OC Rec) is committed to providing students with a positive environment to grow, learn, and be the best version of themselves. We believe having a strong sense of balance and personal well-being leads to student success in the classroom and in life. We take a holistic and dynamic approach to programming, allowing students to pursue opportunities in recreation, sport, and fitness.

OC Rec Events
OC Rec Events are a fantastic opportunity to have fun, de-stress, engage with your classmates and find balance in your life. We offer events throughout the quarter. Most, if not all of these events and adventures are free to students. To find out more about these events, contact OC Rec Manager Jaymie Cox-Garcia.
About our Programming
About our Programming
We are a proud member of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association. We also subscribe to the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and their statement: Health and Wellbeing in Higher Education: A Commitment to Student Success in all that we do.
There are four main themes to the work we do and we host and co-sponsor events throughout the year guided by these themes.
Mindfulness & Mental Health First Aid
Koru Mindfulness is a four session course that will teach you the skill of mindfulness. It will also help you build the habit of using it in your life on a regular basis. We’ve found that folks get a lot more out of Koru if they stick with it from beginning to end, therefore attendance at all four sessions is required. So double check your calendar and then sign up below!
Check back for upcoming sessions.
